The First Print: Stories & Legends of Early Singapore

Commissioned by the National Library Board for their roving exhibition titled ‘The First Print, Stories and Legends of Early Singapore’. The exhibition ran from January to October 2019 across various libraries each month. The First Print showcases some of Singapore’s earliest records of writing on Singapore’s pre-colonial history. Organised to coincide with Singapore’s bicentennial commemoration, the exhibition consisted of text and artefacts that retell the stories of early Singapore.
